I believe it is ALL or NONE.
Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
I never use the built-in Out of the Office assistant, but I have used the Rules Wizard to send out notifications. In that case, you can have rules move your mailing list messages out of the Inbox (and stop processing additional rules for that message) before sending an OOO notification. Not sure if there is any similar option with the built-in assistant, using server-side rules or something like that.
