I want to turn on my out of office assistant but I don't want it to reply to a couple of people (newsletters and such). How do I tell it not to reply to these people?

I never use the built-in Out of the Office assistant, but I have used the Rules Wizard to send out notifications. In that case, you can have rules move your mailing list messages out of the Inbox (and stop processing additional rules for that message) before sending an OOO notification. Not sure if there is any similar option with the built-in assistant, using server-side rules or something like that.
