Using messages with old addresses (2003 SP-1)

I have some old e-mail messages that I've saved from my "Sent" folder which were originally sent out to people when I had another e-mail address. I can successfully send these out as Outlook sends them using my current address, "in behalf of xxxxx@oldaddress.com". The caveat is when someone receives one of these e-mail messages they cannot click "Reply" and send their response; the message gets bounced because it is sent to the old non-existent address.

Sooooo, what I would like to know is how can I send these out so that the recipient can reply as would normally be expected? Can the original "bad" address be replaced permanently with my current "good"" address?

Are you sending these out using Action>Resend This Message? After creating the new message, use View>Options and enter your new address as the Have replies sent to message. This will override the contents of the From field when the person hits Reply.

Thanks.... that works just fine. And, I got the brilliant, . . . okay relatively good idea . . . of resending these types of messages to myself, using your suggestion and then I can Forward them to whomever I please and the return address is then my current one. <IMG SRC=http://www.the-highway.com/Smileys/BigThumbUp.gif>
