mobo info

I have three older "newly acquired" systems (read: Win98se hand me downs) but no hard documentation <img src=/S/sad.gif border=0 alt=sad width=15 height=15>

I'd like to find out more about their motherboards so I can determine (1) what type of RAM they use and ( how much RAM will it hold.

    Where do I start <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>

The free Belarc Advisor is a good place to start. If this does not give you enough information, this article or this article may help.

Download and install the free Belar Advisor. When you run it, it will produce a comprehensive report of the hardware and software installed in the PC. You should be able to use this info to Google for more information.
