Tab control number of rows (2003 with 2000db)

Not an urgent request, but more of a cosmetic item that I'd just like to tidy up (oh dear, I sound more like a project manager saying that).

In a new form, I've used tab control. Control has multi lines activated but no matter how many pages I insert there's only a maximum of 2 rows.
Is there any way can make it cascade to say 3 or maybe even 4 rows deep?
    TIA

If you mean the rows of tabs themselves, it is not considered good design to have them nested too deep, even though Microsoft violates that principle in their own wizards. What are you trying to accomplish?

    Yep, that was it Charlotte.
I was just looking for three rows so the user doesn't have a scroll bar to go to the right/left.
I just know that when the form opens up I'm going to get calls asking for the remaining requested tabs.
As you rightly say, MS do have more than 2 rows now and again, I just can't recall where I've seen it.

Think I might have to look to group like tabs together and use more than one form...drat, drat and double drat.

    Thanks

The Tools | Options... dialog in Word has three rows.

How are you setting up your tab control? For me, it expands the number of tab rows as needed - see screenshot. This is in Access 2002, but it seems unlikely that Microsoft would have changed it in Access 2003.

Just what I need really, but the db is in 2000 owing to client system.

The screenshot I posted is from a database in Access 2000 format created in Access 2002. I never use Access 2002 format for compatibility reasons.

    Strange!
Was there particular setting that was changed to increment the number of rows or just keep adding pages? Other than Multi I couldn't find any other setting.
When I add pages it just adds scroll bars left or right.
    It's using Access 2003 with a 2000 database.

I just added pages. It doesn't matter whether I first add the pages, then set the MultiRow property to Yes, or the reverse.

I have attached a zipped database in Access 2000 format with just one form with a tab control. What happens if you open it? Do you get four rows of tabs? And what happens if you make the tab control wider or narrower?

Many thanks Hans, the zipped file looks fine and it kind of got me thinkin and delvin'.
from your suggestion to try varying the width/height your form worked fine, but mine just refused to reduce width.

Turns out that one of the tabs had a control which was preventing the tabs being reduced in width. Moved the control (set to not visible...d'oh!)

Once that was done it works a treat.
    Thanks for your time everyone.
