    Outlook 2003 fonts (Outlook 2003)

Last week I installed Office 2003 over Office 2000. Setting fonts in Outlook is the problem I would like feedback on. I use "Word as editor" and when setting fonts in Word (tools/options/general/email options) there is no default setting for these and on closing Outlook, everything reverts back to MS defaults of Arial. When setting fonts in Outlook, these also revert to Arial if Outlook is closed. I have tried everything I can find and will appreciate any peer-review comments. What used to be a simple setting in all earlier versions of Outlook has been banished from my 2003 installation. Help please.....Kiwi-1

Rather than Tools/Options/General, 2003 should be showing as Tools/Options/Mail Format. Then choose Stationery & Fonts. I have no trouble making my fonts and stationery stick. I'm sure others more knowledgeable will be able to say why yours is showing up differently, perhaps something to do with installation?
