Nothing Shows when File opened (ms Access 2002)

After a restart that we needed to choose the last normal profile, we can open a mdb file in MS Access 2002 but nothing is visible. I have tried hide unhide, compact and repair and other simple solutions. Nothing works. Does anyone have a suggestion??

Does this happen for all Access databases or for a specific one? If it's a specific one, try holding down the Shift key while opening it.

If it happens with all databases: do you get an empty database window, or no window at all within the Access application window?

No window at all shows. This is the only Access database on this computer. When I copied to another computer, the same thing happened.
The MDB file was on the desktop when there was a hardware profile problem.

Have you tried the F!! key that should show you the database (unless that facility has been turned off)?

Also, can you give us a bit of detail about what the database is supposed to do and how it was created? For example, does it normally display some sort of splash screen, or is it simply a database where you should see the database container window when it first opens. Was it created by a user there, or is it some sort of complex application created by a developer, or is it commercial software?

    Try the following:
    - Start Access.
    - Create a blank new database.
    - If you don't see the database window, there is a serious problem with the Access installation.
    - If you do see the database window, select File | Get External Data | Import...
    - Locate and select the problem database.
    - Does the Import dialog display any database objects (tables, queries, ...)?
    - If not, there is a serious problem with the database.
    - Otherwise, try to import all database objects into the new database.
