Getting values from inbuilt progress bars (Office XP (Access 2002))

I have a function that outputs data from a query into Excel, and then manipulates the data in Excel (using loops). Whilst I can display a progress bar easily enough for the actual code that I've written, the only progress bar for the query export is the one that appears in the Access status bar. Does anyone know of a way of picking up a value for the query output progress, so that I can incorporate this value into my overall progress bar?

As far as I know, there is no way to retrieve the value of the built-in progress bar. Sorry.

If you don't know it, nobody does! Thanks anyway Hans.
