    Skip User Choice (unknown)

I'm the only user of my home computer running XP Pro, At boot and when returning from the screensaver, I get a useless screen asking me to choose myself as the user.

Is there any way to skip this and go to the desktop, or a running program?

    Welcome to the Lounge

You can use TweakUI. To use TweakUI you must have at least Windows XP SP1 (either home or pro)

On the Logon section you have the option to logon automatically.

One of the options in Tweak UI for Windows XP allows a user to autologon. As for the screen saver, UNcheck the "On resume, display the Welcome screen" option.
