Resource - Fatal Exception Errors

Helping a friend to exorcise some gremlims, I came across this page, which is about the most comprehensive resource on BSODs etc. I've seen:

Fatal Exception 0E Errors message bsod program diagnostics B.S.O.D Blue screen of death

Might save on a few tantrums and self-immolations.

It's a good find, if limited -- I've never seen a Fatal Exception 0E in a lifetime of BSODs!

John,

You must be very fortunate indeed.

I've never seen a Fatal Exception 0E in a lifetime of BSODs!
You must be something of an exception yourself then John. I've had dreams about them.

I'm going to add to the heap and ask if you have ever had the "pleasure" of dealing with a non-NT based version of Windows? That's the only way I could imagine that you would not have encountered such errors!

Re: Resource - Fatal Exception Errors

Well it's either my memory or my experience! We've had NT server and workstation all the way back to NT 3.50, then W2K server, then a little bit of XP Pro.

I'm familiar, only too familiar, with the following STOPs:

Stop 0xA or IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Stop 0x1E or KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Stop 0x24 or NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM
Stop 0x50 or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
Stop 0x77 or KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR (either
Stop 0x7A or KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR or)
Stop 0x7B or INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE (occasionally)

but that's about it!
