    end of document macro (Word 2003)

    I believe I once saw a macro to have Word go to the end of a document upon opening. I am saving my favorite quotes from A-Word-A-Day and have a sizable document which could use that macro. Didn't have much luck searching...anyone know the code offhand? Thank you. HNY!

    Re: end of document macro (Word 2003)

    Activate the Visual Basic Editor.
    Double click the ThisDocument node of your document in the Project Explorer.
    Create the following event procedure:

    Private Sub Document_Open()
    Selection.EndKey Unit:=wdStory
    End Sub

    Alternatively, you could use

    Private Sub Document_Open()
    ActiveDocument.Bookmarks("EndOfDoc").Select
    End Sub
