    Multiple Signatures (2003 ver 11.560.5606)

In OE, I could have several signatures to insert in emails, such as first name, first & last, mine & wife's name. In Outlook, It appears, you can choose only one signature. Is This correct? If not, how create several options?

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge.

    You can create multiple signatures:
    - Select Tools | Options...
    - Activate the Mail Format tab.
    - Click Signatures...
    - Click New... for each signature you want to create.
    - When done, click OK to close the Signatures dialog.
    - You can select a default signature in the Mail Format tab.

When you are composing a new e-mail, select and Insert | Signature to select one of your signatures. If you already have a default signature, you will have to remove it if you want another one, otherwise you'll have two in one mail...

Thanks, Hans. I think i followed your instructions and was able to add 2 signatures to the one I had originally created. However when trying to choose one to insert, only the original would insert. Clicking on either of the 2 new ones did nothing

To insert a signature in an e-mail, you must use the Signature option in the Insert menu in the menu bar of the e-mail window itself.

I did try inserting the signature from within the email window. Three signatiures appear in the window after I select signature but only one of the three will insert.

I'm sorry, I can't explain that. I searched the newsgroups, but cannot find a mention of your problem.

Added later: are you using Word as your mail editor? If so, that could be the cause of this problem (and many others). See if it works better if you don't use Word as mail editor.

Hans, Problem solved. Apparently, I didn't take the last step. This time, I went back to the mail Format> signatires> edit.https://flagship5.vanguard.com/VGApp...?type=Buttoned in that signaure and I can now insert any ot them. Thanks

I apologize for the garbled message I previously sent. Obviously I didn't edit the post. What solved the problem was that I went back to the Mail Format> signatures> edit and typed the newly added signatures and I can now insert any ot them. Thanks
