    Hi,
    Try
    Me.Section(acFooter).Visible = False
in the OnOpen event of your report.

If it needs to be invisible all the time, you can set its Visible property to No in design view. If you want to make it invisible when a condition is met, you can use code, but use Me.ReportFooter instead of Me!ReportFooter, or use the code suggested by Gary. The ! is used for controls, but the sections of a report are not controls.
