View Installation History for Updates (XP/SP2)

With Windows, I can get a list of the installed patches by clicking on Windows Update, then "View Installation History".

How can I get a list of the Office Updates that are installed?

Try to update online, even if you have done that. The MS screen will show an option for all installed updates on the left.

    Hi, Adam!

I tried getting to that screen via Office on the Web from the Help menu in Word, but am not sure what to choose. At one point, I was prompted to install Active X -- is this necessary to have to achieve the goal?

    Go to Office Update.
    Click on 'Check for Updates'.
When the check is completed (this may take a bit of time, depending on the speed of your Internet connection and on how busy the Microsoft servers are), click 'Show already installed Office updates'.

The Office Update website uses an ActiveX control. It is safe to allow it to be installed.

    Hi, Hans!

I installed ActiveX, after which I was given an option to "Show already installed Office updates."

Thanks, Hans and Adam for your help!
