    Web query's (O2003/ WinXP)

    Hi,

Here's a newbie question that I haven't been able to locate an answer for.

    Web query's.

I've created a web query and been toying a bit around with the way it extracts data.

Now I've come to the conclusion, that it doesn't contain the data I need, so I want to remove or get rid of my web query.

But it seems to me that no matter what I do I can only get into an edit mode.
This indicates that the query is still there somewhere.

Clearing ALL - doesn't seem to be enough.

My question is simple - how do I remove the web query completely from my sheet??

    Big Thx
    Bests,
    RD

PS: Wish there were a knob on the TV to turn up the intelligence. There's a knob called "brightness," but that doesn't work

    Deleting the worksheet would be effective... <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Or run this macro while the worksheet is active. It won't remove the data, but it will remove the query, i.e. break the link between the data and the web source.

    Sub DeleteWebQueries()
    Dim qt As QueryTable
    For Each qt In ActiveSheet.QueryTables
    If qt.QueryType = xlWebQuery Then
    qt.Delete
    End If
    Next qt
    Set qt = Nothing
    End Sub
