    Contacts vs Address Book? (xp)

I have a number of entries on my Contact list, but I am unable to access them when I am creating a new message. When I click on the To: button in the new message window, it seems to bring me to the Address Book, which appears empty. In that dialog I have selected "Show Names from the Contacts" but it still has no entries.
Can someone explain the difference between the Address Book and Contacts, and how to access the Contacts when creating a new message?
    Thanks

    Try the following:
    - Right-click Contacts in the Outlook Bar or in the Folder tree.
    - Select Properties...
    - Activate the Outlook Address Book tab.
    - Tick the check box labeled "Show this folder as an E-mail address book".
    - Click OK.
Can you see your contacts now when composing a new e-mail?

OK, now when I open the new message dialog and click the To: button, in the "Show Names from the" dropdown list, there are two entries that say Contacts. If I select the 2nd one, I can see my contacts. Thanks

But I'd like to delete the other one, because it always opens up with that one by default. I'd like it to open with my contacts listed by default. When I look in the Folder list, it shows Contacts but it is the one I want to keep. Any idea how to delete the false Contacts folder?
    Thanks

Click the Address Book button on the toolbar in the main Outlook window (or select Tools | Address Book...)
In the Address Book window, select Tools | Options...
In the dialog that appears, you can delete items from the list, and specify which address list is shown by default.

OK I figured out to make my contacts the default. I went to Tools/Address book/Tools/Options.
    Thanks for the help.
