Windows Firewall (Win XP SP 2)

    Hello Woodys Gurus,

I am wondering how robust the Windows Firewall is with Win XP SP 2? I have a Broadband connection and am wondering if this firewall protection will be enough to stop hackers from getting into my computer.

    Cheers,

    Jocelyn

    Hi Jocelyn

Hope you had a happy New Year. As it stands, the Windows Firewall will help stop hackers getting into your machine from the internet, but there are other <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> Firewalls that will do a much better job, such as ZoneAlarm, Sygate etc. Check <post#=407306>post 407306</post#> more for details.

    Hope this helps.
