    Year View? (2003)

    Hello,

The Outlook Calendar can give me an overall Month View.

But how can I view a whole YEAR?

    TIA,

    BD.

Not in calendar form - it would be absolutely unreadable. But you can use View | Current view to select a view that displays a list of all events (appoinments etc.), or active events, etc.

    Hans,

You are probably correct in it not being "totally" readable. However, on my IPAQ, I can see a year at a glance and see the month and dates. I can use it to see on what day of the week September 16th, 2005 (or 2012) occurs. With these newer screens at resolutions above 800x600 I would think it might be possible to do something similar.

Do you know if there are any third party tools available that might offer such a view?

    As always, thanks for sharing.

Depending on your coding skills, it is quite possible to set up a JavaScript web page that shows the entire year as an overlay on your desktop wallpaper. HTH

My coding skills are limited to typing the "code numbers" on the credit card in to the sellers' web page/shopping cart.

Hi I have been trying to solve the same problem - getting a year view that I could plot on a large A1 plotter. Anyway, a couple years back I got a trial third party add-in from Planet Software Pty Ltd (Adelaide Australia) but I couldn't get it to work after an hour or so, so gave up (I am not an IT superstar...so it could just be me or my computer configuration).

Anyway, do a search for planet software in Australia and you may have better luck - let me know how it goes.

    Cheers,

    Re: Year View? (2003)

In my experience the "Year View" on most PDAs is a listing of all scheduled Appointments (on Blackberry it's called "Agenda" view), which can be obtained the way Hans explained, by using a list view such as "All Active Appointments" (I set a filter on this view to display only appointments on or after today) instead of a "Day/Week/Month" view. That display is a bit more managable, and kills a few less trees.
