Opening PST file from Explorer (2003 / XP SP2)

    Hi.

Can anyone tell me how to open a PST file by double clicking on it in Explorer? I know I can do it by File | Open within Outlook, but having been moving some files and associated email archives around, I sometimes find that I want to look in the PST file and don't want to have to re-navigate in the File | Open dialog. I've associated PST files with Outlook, but they just open as attachments, which makes me suspect I need something different in the Open action box. But what?

    Thanks.

As far as I know, it is not possible to open a .pst file directly from Windows Explorer; it has to be done from within Outlook. A newsgroup search for "open a .pst file from windows explorer" (including the quotes) supports this.
