    Apple and Linksys

I'm still helping my neighbor set up a wireless network. Had everything working until he brought home his Apple notebook. It shows the wireless present, but can't connect to it. The notebook shows the SSID name, shows good signal strength, but won't connect. I'm gathering from cryptic net messages that the problem may be in the choice of security on the Linksys WRT-54GS router. I have it set up using WPA-PSK security, but entering the PSK passkey into the "password" space on the laptop doesn't help.
The Linksys router is providing a fine connection to a Linksys wireless adapter on the USB port of and XP machine in the next room, and providing internet service to one computer hooked through a network cable to port 2 on the router.

    Any help?

    Re: Apple and Linksys

    Hi Pat,
Don't know what kind of wireless adapter the notebook is using, but if it's an AirPort, there are setup instructions here. If not, the Linksys support site is pretty extensive and you may be able to find an answer there.
