    object not found (2000)

Hello, I am coding modules to set up and change a query def. This has run previously on another machine but now i am getting this error: 3265, item not found in this collection with the editor highlighting 'Set qdf = CurrentDb.QueryDefs(strQuery)'. Can anybody help please.

    Thanks Darren.

The "Item not found in this collection" message means that there is no query with the name in the strQuery variable. When you get the error message, hover the mouse pointer over strQuery to see what the value of this variable is. You can also activate the Immediate window (Ctrl+G) and type

    ? strQuery

then press Enter. Then switch to Access and check if there is a query with that name.
