    Where is my UserForm? (2003)

I migrated an Excel XP application from a WinMe system to Excel 2003 on a Win XP system. This was done by copying the spreadsheet (through the intermediary of a CD-ROM) from one system to another. The application contains a UserForm frmSelection that is called in the Workbook_Open event:

    frmSelection.Show

With excel 2003 the application fails, highlighting the above statement with an error 53: Cannot find file.

However the UserForm does show up in the Project Frame, both the visual form as well as the attached code can be selected.

So why the error? Obviously there must be something wrong with the path specifications. Where can I find the Path that is used to retrieve the Form? and more important: How can I change it?

Sometimes when a file is copied from a CD it is changed to Read Only. Check the attributes.

Where is the attached code? Need to see a little more to give a good answer.

Have you checked Tools, references to see if any are marked missing?
Furthermore I'd suggest downloading the Code Cleaner from http://www.oaltd.co.uk/mvp
