    Processor speed for Access (XP/2K)

I am choosing a new laptop. Since most what I do is ACCess, my question is :
do I go for a Toshiba with Hyperthreading and 3.06 Pentium with 512 RAM or a Centrino 1.6 also with 512 RAM (The choice is Toshiba A75-S209 or Dell 600m). Obviously there are other factors, but is there a difference in terms of prcessing power what do people think?
    Thanks

A 1.6 GHz processor should be fast enough for Access 2000 or 2002. Memory is more important than processor speed in my opinion. If I could, I'd choose a 1.6 GHz processor with 1024 MB RAM over a 3.06 GHz processor with 512 MB RAM. If money was no problem, I'd choose the fastest processor with the max RAM, of course <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

...also it is said that the Centrino processor running @ 1.6Ghz is equivalent in 'ompfh' to a Pentium 4 running at lot faster.
