    Microsoft scam?

I just received an Email from a site CLAIMING to be taking a survey for Mocrosoft.
It had all the nice looking legitimate MS logos and links to so called MS URLs.
Being the trusting soul that I am, I didn't click on any of them directly, but copied the address in the "link" and tried to go to it right from IE. Well, wonder of wonders, it came back as an error, can't find the address ! Going further, I called the MS Security people ( in India ) and they denied the fact that it had a MS appearance and said to NOT click on the links in the email.
    Suspicions confirmed. Another scam.

It had an address of www.surveysitemail.com after the phoney MS one. So if anyone gets one of these things, hit the delete key right away.

Just a "heads up" for all.

If you were to click the MS link (see attachment) that you cut off in your image, you will see that is is REAL and I have dealt with for some time.

    Dave,
I am just going by what the MS support rep said. ( see my first post )
He claimed it was a fake and advised NOT to click on any link in that email.
Is this another case of the right hand not knowing what the left was doing?
I'm sure you also know that what looks like a link to a certain site really goes to the "phishers" site.

I thinke you're right Bob - "right hand not knowing......." The email (and the link to the site) is legitimate.
