    Standalone ISOs (2003)

The installation procedure for Office 2003 offers the possibility to create standalone ISO files for each of the applications but how do you use those files? I suppose you copy them on a CD and launch them from it but are those files autoplay or do you need something else to launch them?

ISO are special files that are an image of the CDs contents and can not just be copied to a CD. CD creation programs such as Nero and Roxio offer the facility to burn ISO images to CD. See How to Write ISO Files to CD and How to successfully burn an ISO-image for explanations of the process.
