I'm trying to install Office 2000 SR-1 patch and after I swap the Office disk, I get an error reading "Internal Error 2331...Please contact product support.....
Client is running windows 98.

I don't know if this will help, but MSKB <A target="_blank" HREF=http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q290/1/61.ASP>Article Q290161</A> lists the various office installer error codes.
