    Mail Merge (Office 2003)

I am using Office 2003 on XP. What I want to do is use mail merge to make some name tags. The tags will contain a name, some graphics, and classes signed up for. My data source is an Excel spread sheet. So far, I have had no problem getting the data to come in smoothly. What I want to do is get the classes signed up for to bring the color of text used in the data base.

Any help someone can provide is much appreaciated.

I don't think that's possible. A mail merge only fetches the data from the data source, not its formatting.

Thanks Hans. I figured out a better way to do what I wanted anyway. I just formatted the merge field like I wanted it and that seems to work fine.
