    Subform Sort Order (Access 2000)

Another nagging problem with subforms. I have the OrderBy property in the sub form set to sort on a certain field. However, when viewing the embedded sub form it is not sorted in that order. How do I get the subform sorted properly when embedded?

How did you set the OrderBy property? Did you remember to set OrderByOn = true?

That's the funny part. The subform doesn't have an OrderByOn property!

You can only set OrderByOn in code.

A better solution is to create a query based on tblDependents, sorted on DependentBD, and to set the Record Source of the subform to the name of that query.
