    Re: Page borders (Word 2000)

    Hi Tigers...welcome to the lounge!

This is a very good question! There seems to be no option in the Page Borders dialog to round the corners!

I have a method you can try...but its not the most obvious or easiest method to go with...but it should give an effect you need!

    - Choose Insert | Picture | Autoshapes
    - Go to the basic shapes button
    - In the sub menu, go to Round rectangle
    - Click it and draw a rectangle on the page.
    - Size it to fit the edges of the page
    - Double click the edge of the autoshape and format the line to a style and colour
    - Change the fill colour to No Fill.

If you need the rectangle to appear on all pages in a document...then insert the rectangle autoshape into a header.

If this does not help...stay on-line and see if any other loungers post a better method....

    Rudi,
Thanks for the help. Your suggestion has allowed me to achieve what I wanted.
WP still has the edge with this though as it allows different radii for the rounded corner.
    Again, thanks.
