    Changing to Caps (Access 2000)

Is there anyway to change lower case to upper case in Access? If not can this be done in Excel? I thought it could but I can't seem to figure it out. I have a spreadsheet (Access and Excel) that need to be in all caps. Currently it is in both upper and lower case. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

Re: Changing to Caps (Access 2000)

To change existing values, create a query based on your table.
Add all text fields to the query grid.
    Select Query | Update Query.
In the Update to line, enter

    UCase([NameOfField])

in each column, with the appropriate field name substituted.
    Select Query | Run.

To ensure that future data are in upper case, you must use VBA code in the After Update event of text boxes on a form.

Note: you can also set the Format property of all text fields to >
This will not change the underlying data, but display all text in upper case.
