    Sticky Email (OE 6)

I notice when opening a reply to certain emails (ones that usually include a colored background and often with various images and fancy text) that I cannot delete the copy in my reply message. How does one go about deleting these things? They look like text or image boxes, but I've found no way to get rid of them.

If you do NOT want the email to be included in the reply, remove the check mark from the option "Inclue nessage in rely" on the Send tab of the options.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

    Hi Dave,

That works, and that's the simple answer. However, most of the time I have the original message included so I can respond to its contents. When I'm through with my comments I delete the original message. That is, until I run into one of these wierd ones with all kinds of graphics or whatever that won't delete.

They sound like they are in HTML format. After instigating the reply, switch to plain text, then back to HTML if you need or want to.

Or alternaively, do as Dave suggested, but copy the text contents of the original onto the clipboard before hitting the 'Reply' button, then just paste it into your reply as a reference.
