    Explorer fonts

    NT4, SP4

I nearly called this "Little Green Folders 2". I also tried to change the open folder icon using "My Properties". Somewhere in the process something went wrong and the icons all remain the same, but the font of the A-drive description in Explorer changed, and is almost unreadable.

Worse, the filenames on the A-drive have also changed to the same font, and this persists when they are moved or copied onto my hard disc. Unreadable file names are altogether less acceptable. If I go to edit the filename (F2) the font reverts to standard; pressing return it goes back to what looks like Times Roman 6 point

Any ideas as to what is hapenning.

    Possibly this:
<A target="_blank" HREF=http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q219/2/98.ASP>Q219298</A> Fonts Display Incorrectly if More than 48 MB Worth of Fonts Exists
    Fixed in SP6, I believe.

Thank for the reply Leif, I had spotted this article but baulked at pruning my 90.5mb down to <48. Spurred on by your comment, I have done this now, but with no effect
