Showing Parameter Dates at Top of Report (2000)

    Hi,
I have a report based on a query that has a parameter query to have the user punch in a start date and end date. I would like those dates to appear at the top of my report. Is there anyway to do this without creating a form?
    Thanks,
    Deb

Say that your parameters are [Start Date] and [End Date].

Method 1: Put a text box in the report header with Control Source =[Start Date], and another one with Control Source =[End Date]. Label the text boxes appropriately.

Method 2: Put a text box in the report without a label, and set its Control Source to (for example):

    ="Report for the period from " & [Start Date] & " through " & [End Date]

    Hans,
Thanks a ton, that worked. I don't know what I was doing wrong but I couldn't get it to work. I must have had the parameter names off. Thanks.
