Based on a suggestion in the Win2000 forum, I'm attempting to run a short script to allow me to hibernate my Win2000 machine by clicking an icon. The suggested script is
<pre> set WshShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
WshShell.SendKeys "^{ESC}uh{ENTER}
</pre>

I've saved the script in a file called hibernate.vbs. When I attempt to execute the file I get this message:
<pre> There is no script engine for the file extension .vbs
</pre>

I've checked that .vbs files are associated with wscript.exe. This seems like a simple configuration problem but I'm not sure where to turn next.

Thanks,
