Thread: MSQuery/Excel 2000

Has anyone seen the following issue. We've got a saved Query from Excel 97/MSQuery 97 that contains a few concatenated fields and uses the AS statement to give the column a specific name. When I run this Query in 97 and then edit it in MSQuery the concatenated column name is preserved.
However when I open the same query in MSQuery 2000 the concatenated column names are changed to 1 and 4 respectively, based on their position. Looking at the SQL statement, it looks totally out of whack and is missing the AS statement. The information is being returned correctly however.
Is there some new syntax we need to use with MSQuery 2000? I've tried this on Excel SR1a and Excel SP2 and both experience the issue.
Thanks in advance!
