Lost Subtotals! (Access 2000)

When I export a report that contains grouped subtotals to excel using the analyse with excel toolbar button, the report exports without the subtotals. Is there a way to preserve the subtotals? If not, I assume it will cost a macro to be designed in excel that will re-add the sub totals???

any ideas!
Regards,
Rudi

Thx Hans,

Unlike groups in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel outlines have only a header or a footer, not both. For this reason, only information in the report's group header is included in the output. To include group information in the output, place the information in the group header instead of the group footer.

This is handy to know!
Regards,
Rudi
