    Curious about EMBED (Excel 2002)

I got a workbook the other day that had a sheet that had an object image. In a cell I saw a formula something like =Embed("Worksheet","") that, when clicked, opened up a complete workbook of some sort that had tabs and so on. Can someone explain that and the general purpose of the EMBED function. I couldn't see anything in Help as I scanned it. Thanks.

It is the function that you get when you embed on object into excel. You literally create a "worksheet" inside the workbook. You can embed all sorts of objects: powerpoint, word, etc.

Insert Object and Create New to choose the type
or insert object create from file to create it from an existing file
