    Norton Ghost 9 Problems

Has anyone used the "new" Ghost v9 (Drive Image re-do?)?

It's worked pretty well for me to date... until this latest backup, when it ran over 1 DVD, and I got an error (three times) when it was (presumably) time to swap DVDs, that said that it (Norton) couldn't find the file... and it bombed out....

Is it feasible that DVD backups work (only) on a single DVD, and not multiples?

    Regards,

It certainly is feasible. Not likely though. More likely a bug. Have you run LveUpdate? Have you checked the Symantec Support site?

    Joe:

I found nothing on the site... and I'm on hold now with phone support as we "speak" ... it's been about 45 minutes so far... thank goodness for cell phones and free weekends...

It's just a bit unnerving... I went back to Ghost 8, and that crashed out too... but I ran a backup to CD right after, so I know the drive (Plextor) is OK...
