Can't edit report text box control source (2000)

I can't make out why if, in the startup form of the attached mdb, I check "Alto Mora" and click on the "Stampa" button and then in the ensuing form I select December 2004 and click on the Command6 button, I get a #Name? error in the Testo114 text box of the report.
I've tried changing the control source of it from
    ="Dati di " & [Format$](DateSerial([Forms]![mseledata].[Anno],[Forms]![mseledata].[Mese],1),"mmmm - yyyy")
    to
    ="Dati di " & Format$(DateSerial([Forms]![mseledata].[Anno],[Forms]![mseledata].[Mese],1),"mmmm - yyyy")
    but Access rejects that.

Your subject mentions Access 2000 as version, but the database contains references to Office 2003 libraries. If the 2000 is not a typo, do the following:
    - Open the database with the Shift key held down, to bypass the startup options.
    - Activate the Visual Basic Editor (Alt+F11).
    - Select Tools | References...
    - Clear the check boxes for the two MISSING references.
    - If you need them, set references for the Microsoft Excel 9.0 Object Library and the Microsoft Graph 9.0 Object Library.
    - Click OK.
    - Switch back to Access. You should now be able to change [Format$] to Format$ in the control source.

Note: your database is still corrupt; as noted before, it contains modules for non-existing reports.

    Thank you Hans,
I indeed use Access 2003 but keep the file format to Access 2000.
Thanks also for the heads-up on the database corruption.

If you're using Access 2003, you shouldn't have missing references. I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to change [Format$] to Format$ then.

    <img src=/S/blush.gif border=0 alt=blush width=15 height=15>I should have been more specific.
This time around I'm using the file, created in Access 2003 but with an Access 2000 format, on a pc running Office 2000.
    Thank you
