    Rank/Percentile (2000)

I am wanting to rank a list of data that is subtotaled - ascertaining the top 50 occurring items. I think the rank and percentile would do it; however, I can't bring it up because I don't see analysis under tools even though it has been checked as an add-in.

    Any ideas?

Are you sure you checked Analysis Toolpak in Tools | Add-Ins...? If so, and if you don't have a 'Data Analysis' item in the Tools menu, try the following:
    - Select Tools | Add-Ins...
    - Clear the check box for Analysis Toolpak.
    - Click OK.
    - Quit and restart Excel.
    - Select Tools | Add-Ins...
    - Tick the check box for Analysis Toolpak.
    - Click OK.

Thanks. This worked but my data contains ( 2 columns) non-numeric data (1 column). Can I still use the rank/percentile function addin?

The input range must be all numeric (except the header can be a label)
