printing page 1-X (2003 on XP Pro)

Just got new puter with Outlook 2003. It appears from the print dialog box that is no longer possible to print only page 1 of a Email message. Nor does it appear that one can print a selection. Is this correct? Is there a workaround?

In (my) 2002, what you are able to print depends on the format of the email.

HTML format gives you the options, Plain text gives you none.

Have you tried with an HTML formatted email?

you are exactly right. That is too bad. Isn't that the only application in MS Office that has a unique print dialog box?

    I can't answer that I'm afraid!

(FYI, I got the tip about printing in different formats from the thread beginning with <post#=403558>post 403558</post#>.
