    Formula-help (Excel 2000)

Hi all I need some help here,
I'm checking the value of three cells on a seperate sheet named logs. Can anyone tell me why it doesn't work for me. I keep getting the NAME? in the cell that I would like to hold the value.

    =IF(AND(Logs!F5=" A",Logs!I5="Unit 1",Logs!J5="Couple 1"),1,0)

    Thanks,

    Darryl.

    Try : =IF(AND(Logs!F5="A",Logs!I5="Unit 1",Logs!J5="Couple 1"),1,0)

It works fine with me. (Must there be a space before A...ie. " A")?
    Regards,
    Rudi

    Hi Rudi,

I keep getting the #Name? as a result.

And there is a space there with the " A"

    Thanks,
    Darryl.

    The formula structure is correct!

I recall a post the other day with the Logs sheet involved. It was corrected when you eliminated a space or something in the sheet name. Check the sheet name, and make sure it is spelt correctly or that there is no extra character or space anywhere. This should correct it!

    Rudi

In the source does it have any cells with a #name error?
