    Problem converting 97 to 2000 (2000)

I converted a database that I believe was originally built in Access 97. There is a form with command buttons on it that preview reports - built using the Command Button Wizard. However, when I click any of the buttons Access crashing out.
I have already compiled the database which normally resolves several issues. How can I resolve this issue? Do I need to recreate the form and its buttons?
    Thanks, Andy.

Have you try a compact & repair ?
Before trying to rebuild the form, you could try to only replace the corrupted buttons on the form.
If this don't help, create a new blank database and try to import all the objects from the corrupted database.

If you can compile the code, I assume there are no missing references. Still, it doesn't hurt to check in Tools | References... (in the Visual Basic Editor).

If that doesn't work, try the following:
    - Decompile the database (see <post#=44865>post 44865</post#> for details)
    - Compile the code.
    - Compact and repair the database.
