Re: New Record Text Box Focusing (2000)

When I open the form, the focus is on GT4, so what is your problem?

    Hi Hans,
Yes but when you click on the Comando83 button, GT4 loses the focus.

New Record Text Box Focusing (2000)

If you click on the leftmost button(Comando83) on the startup form of the attached mdb, a new record is created with the GIORNO and ORA fields already filled in but I would also like to automatically select the first unlocked text box(GT4) without having to click it. Can it be done?
    I had protected the VBA code, I've unlocked it now. <img src=/S/blush.gif border=0 alt=blush width=15 height=15>

You could set focus to GT4 at the end of the On Click event procedure for the Comando83 button. Since you have protected the code in the database with a password, I cannot view the On Click procedure.

Thank you Hans, I had unlocked the code in the meantime.

As I wrote, you can set focus to GT4:

    ...
    Exit_Comando83_Click:
    Me.GT4.SetFocus
    Exit Sub
    ...
