Search/replace larger than 255 char (Word 2003)

Is anyone aware of a way to search and replace a block of text larger than 255 characters? Word seems to have that limitation and I've not found any add-on utilities that will do that job.
    Thanks

Can you use a wildcard search? You could search for something like
Four score*earth
. Since * stands for any number of characters, the find text can be longer than 255 characters. You can copy the replace text to the clipboard, and enter
^c
in th Replace With box.
