Message recall (XP / SP3)

Dear all,

I've got a lot of question in my organization, in what situation the message recall feature works.

I see following situation sending e-mails
- to users with Exchange environment
- to users without Exchange environment.

I've seen situation that the recall feature even does not work when sending within the organization.

Do you have explanation for me I can pass to my users.

Any hint is highly appreciated.

IOW, it works only in a small percentage of situations.


Edit: correction, I think Recalls are valid on any Exchange Server within the same Domain. My company runs multiple Exchange servers within the same domain, and Recalls work across servers subject to the other conditions I noted.
