Paste special menu to button (2003)

Hi. We're converting our website to a new, improved design and it entails a LOT of Paste Special/Normal Paragraphs futzing around. To speed things up, I made a "Paste Special" button but have not figured out how to include the Convert Text dialog box info with the paste choices. The default is set on "Convert text to formatted paragraphs" but we need "Convert text to normal paragraphs." If this were Word, I could record a macro for the whole process, but FP doesn't do that and I don't have any Visual Basic. So, I'd like at least to get the default for the Convert Text dialog box re-set from Formatted Paras to Normal Paras, so we can just click the button and hit return and have it Paste Special/Normal Paragraphs. I did try Help. You can imagine how that turned out. <img src=/S/brickwall.gif border=0 alt=brickwall width=25 height=15>
    Any ideas? Thanks so much.

Just wondering if nobody's answering because no one knows the answer or because the question was maybe not clear. (I'm a writer; I get carried away!)

IN A NUTSHELL: Under "Edit/Paste Special," I'd like to re-set the default for the "Convert Text" dialog box from Formatted Paragraphs to Normal Paragraphs. Anybody know how to do this?

    Thanks again/spe

I did take a bit of a look the other day - but FP's object model is a bear and quite time consuming to work with. And right now I've a couple of deadlines to meet. But it is on my list!
It would be a very useful tool.

I'm not sure of the origin of this text, but I keep a copy of Notepad open when moving stuff from Word to FrontPage. Doing Ctrl+P, Ctrl+A, Ctrl+X in Notepad will cleanse the text so that FP is completely ignorant of any special formatting it might previously have had... But I agree that a macro would be very nice.
