help with acrobat

I am unable to attach a film file that will go with a created acrobat file. For some reason my avi does not get attached to the file and go with the acrobat file I e-mail out. When the receiver tries to watch the movie all they get is a missing path file. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What email client and version are you using to send the file and how are you sending the .pdf?
Do I understand you are mailing a .pdf (which itself has an atachment) as an attachment, but the attachment's attachment is not automatically being added?
Can you manually add the film file?

    Re: help with acrobat

I am unable to save an avi file to a word doc or an adobe acrobat file. If I throw away the avi off my desktop then I get an error message when I open up the file. It wants the file to stay on my desktop. It will not attach its self to the doc or acrobat file.

are you sending the avi or a shortcut to the avi?

a missing path file

leads me to believe it's a shortcut and not the actual file.

    Re: help with acrobat

I am using the insert movie flie from with in adobe acrobat. But it is just putting a shortcut in the file and not uploading the avi into the adobefile for some strange reason.

use the search tool on your start menu to search for the avi and add it from that location. make sure the insert file button is adding the file, not a link. (depending on your version, it's the open button at the bottom of the dialog)

or drag from the search window and drop on outlook's message window.
