    Re: Word (2003 11.6359.6360 SP1)

    Start Word.
Hover the mouse pointer near the top of the page.
The mouse pointer will change to a double arrow (up/down).
Click once to show the white space at the top and bottom of the page.

    Alternatively, select Tools | Options...
    Activate the View tab.
Tick the check box labeled "White space between pages (Print view only)".

    Now quit and restart Word.

Also see Page header has disappeared.

Top margin disappeared (Word 2003 SP1)

Subject edited by HansV to be more descriptive than 'Word'

I've done something goofy to Word and can't figure out how to undo ... when I open a new document, the cursor is at the very top of the page although when I click Page Set up, it shows the top margin as 1".

When I open older documents, the margin is still 1".

Thanks ... I just figured it out ... think my new wireless mouse got out of control at some point when I was sweeping cursor around ... Anyway, it's changed back now. Appreciate your taking the time to answer.

Thanks ... I finally found the answer and returned here to post that I had fixed it ... and found two posts with the solution. Thanks much for the quick response.
