Tab in table-not add row (Word 2003)

Is there a non-code way to prevent tabbing in the last cell of a table from adding a new row?

I don't think you can do that without VBA.

Thanks for the response and confirming what I thought. I am doing a template inside another software and I can't put any code in there!!

    Hi Darryl,

Maybe you could put the table in a section, put a text form field in each cell, and protect the section for forms.
Though that solution might be more bother than it's worth...

I can't protect the document because the other app is mail merging into it so I have to use its field names in the document. I am using a table to align fields and also to allow the user to tab through the document.
