When I open Word doc attachments from Outlook, it defaults to opening them in the reading layout. I hate the reading layout and never use it for anything. How can I change the default from Outlook so it stops opening in reading layout? I'm tired of having to change the layout every time I open a Word attachment.

In Word select Tools>Options...
On the General tab deselect "Allow Starting in Reading Layout"
